DATA PRIVACY FRAMEWORK STATEMENT REGARDING EU, UK AND SWISS PERSONAL DATA

EU-U.S., UK Extension to EU-US and Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework
Priceline US collects and processes European Customer Data for the purposes described in the Online Privacy & Cookies Policy (“Policy”). Priceline US adheres to the DPF as setforth by the US Department of Commerce with respect to the European Customer Data including its Principles of Notice, Choice, Accountability for Onward Transfer, Security, Data Integrity and Purpose Limitation, Access and Recource, Enforcement and Liability (collectively, "DPF Principles"). If there is any conflicts between terms in this Policy and the DPF Principles, the Principles shall govern. To learn more about the DPF Program, and to view our certification, please visit https://dataprivacyframework.gov/s/participant-search.

If you are a European data subject, you have the right to access your own European Customer Data subject to certain limitations, such as where the legitimate rights of other persons would be infringed or where the burden or expense of providing access would be disproportionate. If you wish to exercise such rights, please contact us as described in Section 7 of that Policy. You also have the right to exercise choice (opt-out) from our use of your European Customer Personal Data for direct marketing purposes, as well as limit the use and disclosure of such European Customer Personal Data, including with respect to disclosures to third parties and using European Customer Personal Data for a purpose that is materially different from the purpose(s) for which it was originally collected or subsequently authorized by the individuals. To exercise this right, please follow the instructions as described in Sections 5 and 6 of the Policy. We do not otherwise use or disclose European Customer Personal Data in a manner that is subject to choice requirements under the DPF.

Recourse, Enforcement, and Liability
Priceline US is subject to the investigatory and enforcement powers of the US Federal Trade Commission for European Customer Data. In compliance with the DPF, Priceline US commits to resolve complaints about our collection or use of your European Customer Data. European individuals with inquiries or complaints regarding our commitment to the DPF should contact Priceline US at privacy@priceline.com. You may also refer a complaint to your local data protection authority and Priceline US will work with them to resolve your concern. We also are responsible for third party agents that are processing European Customer Data on our behalf, unless we prove that we are not responsible for the event giving rise to the damage. In certain situations, we may be required to disclose European Customer Data in response to lawful requests by public authorities, including meeting national security or law enforcement requirements. Priceline US has further committed to refer unresolved DPF complaints to ICDR-AAA, an alternative dispute resolution provider located in the United States. If you do not receive timely acknowledgment of your complaint from us, or if we have not addressed your complaint to your satisfaction, please contact or visit ICDR-AAA’s complaint page for more information or to file a complaint. The services of ICDR-AAA are provided at no cost to you.
